Chose this place to break up a long drive north. Absolutely delightful! The accommodation was quaint, appropriate to the location. It was spotlessly clean, many unique detailed features like bow tie folded towels and toilet roll, manicured grass and flower pots! Bed was superbly comfortable and the room was very quiet. Ashton is a charming farming heartland of America small town with a friendly and strong community.
Absolutely charming place! Rooms are comfortable and inviting, with a cozy cabin feel. Sweet little details show the owners really care. Spotlessly clean, great value. Easy check-in with the kind lady at the reception desk. Short drive to hiking and beautiful scenery. So glad we found this hidden gem!
Came to stay for a few days near the Tetons. My vehicle ended up breaking down an stayed a week while working out the situation. The staff at Fishing Bear were VERY friendly, accommodating and as helpful as could be. The rooms are spotless and cozy. Pet friendly with well kept grassy areas to walk my dog an play ball. Quiet, safe area. Dont hesitate to stay here!
Cozy rooms, perfect location for heading into Yellowstone from the west. We had a suite, which has one bed in a private bedroom and one in the main room, which was just right for our group of 4. Very clean, big bathroom!! Friendly and helpful staff.
Did an overnight stay on our way to Tetons and found this place to be just perfect for what we needed. It’s a basic motel that they made feel more than that. Rooms were very clean, there were nice touches on things like the towel folds and so forth. If you need a comfortable, affordable, and clean place to stay, this is it!
What an absolute awesome place. Super clean Beautiful in the inside. For a great price. I wish every town had this place. We have stayed at hundred of hotels. All over the states. Honestly, this is one of the best. Plus, the price is out of this world.
A cozy place just off the road. Although there is no traffic noise inside. Very clean but carpets could have been better. Hence one star down. Tight but clean bathrooms. Good basic amenities. Breakfast is grab and go. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with quality of stay.
The Fishing Bear Lodge was delightful! Really well-maintained, cute and a great cabin vibe that felt perfectly homey after a day of exploring Yellowstone and Mesa Falls. New owners and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips for dinner and things to do. Amazing place, definitely need to check out!
